Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak is starting a private space company called Privateer. Privateer will apparently monitor and clean up objects in space, but little else is known about the company yet. Literally, a privateer is a private person or ship that engages in maritime warfare under a commission of war.
The Fertile Crescent is a crescent-shaped region in the Middle East, spanning modern-day Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, Israel, Jordan, and Egypt, together with the southeastern region of Turkey and the western portion of Iran. The region is one of the cradles of civilization because it is one location where settled farming first emerged as people started the process of clearance and modification of natural vegetation to grow newly domesticated plants as crops.
