What did I learn this week (2021) - 36

  • Hanlon's Razor: Some bad things happen not because of people having bad intentions, but because they did not think it through properly.
  • Podman is a kinda docker alternative. Podman is a daemonless container engine for developing, managing, and running OCI (Open Container Initiative) Containers on your Linux System. Containers can either be run as root or in rootless mode.
  • Helio Workstation is free and open-source music sequencer, designed to be used on all major platforms.
  • O.MG Cable is actually a malicious cable that can record everything I type, including passwords, and wirelessly send that data to a hacker who could be more than a mile away. It is packed with a web server, 802.11 radio, and way more memory and processing power. This is the new version of a series of penetration testing tools made by the security researcher known as MG.
  • Found Susan Rigetti's guide to learn philosophy.
